After having the chance to try the amazing Cleanse and Polish Hot Cleanser from Liz Earle they were kind enough to sent me the next 2 steps of the daily essentials to try as well. It was a lovely surprise from Louis the Pr of Liz Earle and I want to thank her ! She made my day :)
This whole month I've bee using the 3 products : the cleanser, the tonic and the mosturiser and I was able to see a notable change on my skin.
First I'm gonna review the Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer. I had to choose between tottle and spritzer and I choose the spritzer version of the tonic. I felt in love with the beautiful smell as I first opened it ! It's really heavenly as they say in the description. So let's see the official description and then I'll tell you more about my own experience with the product.
Description:
This heavenly floral-scented, non-drying toner refreshes, soothes and brightens your skin. Gentle and alcohol-free, it also adds a fine layer of moisture.
Pour onto a cotton wool pad and sweep over face and neck after using Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. Alternatively spritz over face and body to revitalise at any time.
Naturally active ingredients include organic aloe vera to revitalise and soften and calendula, chamomile, cucumber and natural source vitamin E to soothe and refresh the skin.
My opinion
As I was saying I loove the smell ! It gives me a euphoric feeling and when I use it in the morning it makes my day better ! Also I didn't cause me any kind of irritation like some tonics did but this one is alcohol free and has naturally active ingredients that work wonders on my skin ! It leaves my skin soft, refreshed and looking bright and radiant :) It also contains lavender - my favourite and sweet orange to restore and revive your spirits !
You can use it with a cotton wool pad or spray a fine mist lightly from aproximately 20cm for an instantly refreshing, reviving boost !
It's suitable for all skin types
Volume/ price 500ml for £,12,50
The third step of the daily essentials is the Skin Repair Light Moisturiser and I have the one for combination/oily skin.
Description
Light and gentle, this easily absorbed moisturising lotion is ideal for combination, oily or problem skin.
This finely balanced blend of naturally active skin-conditioning ingredients includes borage oil (a rich source of the essential fatty acid GLA), echinacea, hops, avocado oil, panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) and natural antioxidants beta-carotene and vitamin E to replace lost moisture and help protect your skin, leaving it soft and smooth with a naturally healthy glow.
Massage into face and neck, morning and night, after Instant Boost Skin Tonic.
Includes borage and avocado to lightly moisturise and balance the skin.
Suitable for combination/oily skin
My opinion
It's a light mosturising lotion which doesn't leave my skin greasy but instead looking glowy and healthy. It contains some nourishing ingredients (you can see them in the official description of the product above ) that improved my skin's condition after more than a month. Before that period of the month I usually get some acnea on my face but after using these 3 steps I have one or two or hardly any. My skin looks great and it feels great when I touch it. During this period of the year my skin tends to become dry partial but this cream helps me prevent that. Also I've been using mineral foundations this month so my skin needed extra moisture and this cream was ideal for me. The smell is a nice one too !
